Directions: From Highway 16, take E. Wisconsin Ave. into Oconomowoc. Turn right on N. Walnut St., this will evntually become N. Oakwood Ave. Fowler Lake will be on both the left and right side (the lake sits inbetween La Belle Cemetery, and Lac LaBelle.
Fowler Lake was formed, when a dam was built at the Oconomowoc River entrance to
Lac la Belle, in 1837.
The story is, that in 2003, an elderly man was fishing on Fowler Lake around sunset. He suffered a heart attack, or some other type of medical attack, and fell into the lake, and drowned.
